Doing Business in the Middle East Boot Camp™
The Doing Business in the Middle East Boot Camp™ (“Boot Camp”) is an intensive and comprehensive workshop engineered to take the fear and mystery out of doing business in the MENA region by giving participants the actual business know-how and soft skills that will make doing business in the Middle East manageable, even for total novices with no experience in the Middle East.
Workshop
A full-day intensive workshop for individuals, companies and firms who want to know what it takes to make it in business in the Middle East. This workshop will answer all the questions you ever had about doing business in the Middle East but were afraid to ask.
Speaker
Sonya Shaykhoun, Esq., a native New Yorker, is a New York-qualified attorney, who holds an MA Honours Degree from the University of St Andrews in St. Andrews, Scotland and a BA in Arabic and Law from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London and an LL.M in Corporate and Commercial Law from SOAS, University of London.
Although Sonya is half Egyptian (and half Irish), it was not until Sonya moved to the Middle East in 2004 that Sonya started to learn first-hand what it takes to succeed in business in the Middle East. Sonya has called the Middle East home for the most of the last decade and is now ready to share her experience and knowledge with you in person.
The Boot Camp will cover the following topics:
This workshop will focus primarily on the GCC region (Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman) although it will also look at other countries in the MENA region (Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon).
